Account data (email address, purchase history, plan status): retained for the life of your account. Deleted when you close your account or request deletion.
Lens diagnostic session metadata (URL inspected, CSS problem class, origin type, attributed source, element tag, ancestor depth, triage route, Viewport width, timestamp): retained for up to 30 days on a rolling basis. This is what populates your session history.
Lens capture payload (CSS property values, selector data, origin classifications, ancestor element data): not retained. This data is processed to produce the diagnosis and discarded after the result is returned. It doesn’t sit in a database.
Authentication logs (IP address, user-agent): retained 30 days for security monitoring.
Payment records: retained for 7 years under US tax law requirements. Stripe also maintains transaction history on their end.
Closing your account removes account data and session metadata. Payment records are retained for the legally required period.
