This is a real human terms summary of how Loupely handles your data as a Loupely Lens user. The full privacy policy at loupelylens.com/privacy governs if anything here is incomplete.
What Loupely collects: your email address (account creation), billing history (processed by Stripe), and session metadata from Lens diagnoses. Session metadata includes the URL inspected, the CSS problem class identified, the element type you clicked, the origin type and attributed source of the winning rule, the triage route assigned, the Viewport width at the time of capture, and the timestamp. Session metadata is retained for up to 30 days on a rolling basis. Authentication logs (IP address, user-agent) are retained for 30 days.
What Loupely doesn’t keep: the CSS capture payload itself. The property values, selector data, origin classifications, and ancestor element data from your captures are processed to produce the diagnosis and discarded after the result is returned. They don’t sit in a database.
What your email is used for: email code sign-in and transactional account notifications. No marketing without opt-in.
Your card number never passes through Loupely. It goes from your browser directly to Stripe.
